Basha, a 30-year-old father of four and a coffee producer from East Sidama, Bensa woreda, has achieved a significant milestone by scoring 90.5 and becoming one of the two Presidential Award winners at the 2024 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia.

Basha learned traditional coffee farming techniques from his father, who instilled in him the belief that “Coffee is our bread.” Reflecting on his achievement, Basha expressed his happiness and encouragement, highlighting how proud he is of this recognition.

Basha owns 4 farms in the Bensa woreda, and has been a partner with Cafe Kreyol since 2022.
